Overview:

Absolute Dance Company is currently interviewing instructors for Musical Theatre and Ballet for our 2024.2025 Dance season.

We are seeking passionate and experienced Dance Instructors to join our team. As a Dance Instructor, you will have the opportunity to educate and inspire students of all ages. Join us and share your love for dance with our students!

Duties:
~ Develop and implement dance lesson plans for students of different age groups and skill levels
~ Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their technique and performance
~ Choreograph dance routines for recitals and performances
~ Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
~ Collaborate with other instructors and staff members to plan and organize dance events and showcases
- Stay updated on current trends and techniques in the dance industry

Qualifications
~ Previous experience as a Dance Instructor
~ Strong knowledge of chosen dance styles and technique
~ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
~ Patience and the ability to work effectively with students of all ages
~ Creativity in choreographing routines and developing lesson plans
~ Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
~ Certification in dance education or a relevant field is preferred but not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
