*JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists the professional staff. Delivers direct care to patients as directed by the RN or LPN. Always maintains patient comfort and safety.
*RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide nursing care by a resident are plans and procedures and follow departmental policies and procedures
• Deliver direct care to patients through patient care such as bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming, etc.
• Follow directions and instructions given by the RN or LPN in charge.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety as well as safety, environmental, and infection control standards
• Assist residents with daily tasks and take care of personal needs of residents
• Additional tasks as assigned

*REQUIREMENTS:

• Current New York State Nurses Aide Certification required
• Experience in long-term care preferred
• Must be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliable
• Strong customer service skills and compassion
• Basic computer knowledge, PCC e-MAR experience preferred
• Physical endurance for frequent activity; ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds
• Minimum 18 years of age
