Job Summary:

Auto and/or Heavy-Duty Fleet Mechanic that has the ability to perform necessary maintenance and repairs on company auto and heavy-duty vehicles. 

Primary responsibilities

• Provide Service and repair to our fleet of passenger vehicles, work trucks, service vans and heavy-duty truck and tractors.
• Learn to diagnose and repair light to Heavy duty spec vehicles.
• Become familiar with DOT guidelines and inspections. 
• Ability to use or learn to use fleet software to record repairs and parts used. 
• Assist Drivers with any vehicle issues before and/or after each shift. 
• Work with shop foreman on equipment maintenance and repair procedures
• Maintain professionalism with Drivers, managers, outside vendors and customers always.

Qualifications & Required Skills:

1. 1 year work experience on any relevant vehicle and/or heavy-duty equipment preferred but will train the right candidate.
2. Basic set of hand tools 
3. Ability to follow direction. 
4. Basic computer and software skills
5. Professional attitude and appearance with a strong work ethic
6.  Ability to work and learn in a “team” environment. 
7. CDL a plus but not required.
8. Welding Skills a plus but not required.
