MRI Tech Part Time Days Position Summary
Works with the Radiologists and other personnel to perform technical procedures in Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Coordinates with other departments the day-to-day activity for MRI safety and procedures.
THE MRI TECH PART TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Completion of accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Prior general radiology experience or prior MRI hospital experience.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Three years MRI hospital experience.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Current Certification for ARRT, MRTBE, ARDMS, JRCNMT, NMTCB or ARMRIT. CPR.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Good verbal and written communication skills necessary to understand oral and written instructions stated in medical terms and to exchange information with patients and staff.
SUPERVISES: Functional supervision will be exercised over cross-training Radiology Technologists and/or students.
