Abrasive Technology is Hiring a Manufacturing associate Near Center, OH

2nd Shift (Monday-Friday 3 : 00pm-11 : 30pm)

3rd Shift (Sunday-Thursday 11 : 00pm-7 : 30am)

Hourly base rate plus a $3.00 shift differential for working off shift.

The platers are responsible for electroplating a wide of products and the maskers are responsible for dipping, masking, and precise taping in our Aerospace department.

Duties and responsibilities :

  • Perform multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a neat and orderly workplace.
  • Prioritize and determine the appropriate order of tasks according to relative importance.
  • Comprehend and successfully follow documented procedures.
  • Follow all company safety policies and practices.
  • Ability to work overtime, sometimes on short notice.
  • Maskers have the ability to precisely carve parts using designated tools.
  • Maskers work under a microscope.
  • Electroplaters handle all duties relating to processing of product and grit recovery.
  • Electroplaters are responsible for daily maintenance and cleaning of the tanks and fixturing in the plating department.

Qualifications :

  • No experience necessary and training will be provided, but experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
  • Detail oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Desire to share a positive attitude with the team.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Capability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical requirements :

  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds on occasion.
  • Sit and stand throughout the day as needed.
  • Willingness to follow company PPE standards to work with chemicals found onsite.
