Work Hours:

Temporary 2nd Shift Hours: Monday-Thursday 2 p.m. – 12 a.m.

Direct Hire Role and full benefits eligible after 30 days!

Training shift: 10-6 p.m. for up to 4 weeks.

Posted wage range includes a $2.00 per hour shift differential.

Please join our world-leading superabrasives company where you’ll put your machining skills to work as part of a highly skilled team. You’ll be engaged as a machinist/operator at Precision Swiss, an Abrasive Technology company, producing complex and detailed parts for a wide range of markets.

Duties and responsibilities:

• The CNC Machinist selects appropriate settings and adjusts as necessary.
• Responsible for operating one or more types of computer numeric controlled production equipment.
• Set and load all tools in conjunction with set up instructions to complete all assigned jobs.
• Ability to use inspection tools such as calipers/micrometer/profile projector.
• Problem solves to resolve any deviations from work instructions.
• Follow all company safety policies and practices.

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Desired qualifications:

• 0–1-year experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Swiss type machine experience preferred.
• Experience with Tsugami, Citizen, Star, Hanwha and Tornos machines is a plus.

Physical requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds on a consistent basis.
• Stand for 4 hours a day.
• Willingness to work around chemicals and use appropriate PPE.
