Description

AbeTech is looking for an energetic person to join our warehouse team! Our Receiving Associate will receive, count and document all incoming shipments and assist delivery personnel with unloading trucks as needed. Candidates will maintain accurate inventory locations, provide inventory information to service schedulers and investigate inventory issues. This role works cross departmentally to communicate incoming shipments. You will work with our vendors on new product RMAs. As a warehouse team member, you will also back up the warehouse staff and work to keep the warehouse very organized and clean. AbeTech has a year-round climate controlled clean working environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Receiving

• Receive shipments into WMS software
• Label incoming products to be put on racks
• Communicate with vendors on
• Update team work instruction
• Assist with unloading truck

New Order RMA

• Receive new product RMAs into the system and return to stock or work with vendors to return products
• Communicate and prepare credit documents for Accounting and Client Care as needed

Inventory cycle counts

Provide backup to the warehouse

Requirements

High School Graduate or equivalent

Ability to lift 40 pounds regularly (up to 75 pounds occasionally or follow safe lifting procedures)

Able to be on your feet working from mobile work stations 75% of the day

Strong written and verbal skills

Proven ability to work independently as well as a team

Great attitude

1-3 years in a warehouse or inventory control area

Ability to efficiently use a variety of computer programs

Forklift Certification considered a bonus
