Summary: The MyData Operator (MDO) will be required to effectively program and monitor the MyData Pick and Place machines in our Production department. A Pick and Place machine is a positioning system for precise placement of components on to a circuit board. The MDO must be able to clearly communicate with other employees. Must be very detail oriented and work from very specific Work Orders correctly and recognize errors. We will happily train the right candidate for this very interesting job!

Job responsibilities:

• Precisely follow directions on the Work Order, Drawing, and Bill of Materials to load and program the MyData computer.
• Order parts/circuit boards from Stockroom. Return unused parts to Stockroom.
• Visually Inspect circuit boards for quality and correct placement, with naked eye and with the use of a microscope. Find and report mistakes.
• Clean the boards and submit work to Quality Assurance for inspection. Upon approval, proceed to the next step on the Work Order.
• Complete documentation.
• Count parts as needed.
• Follow safety, cleaning, and maintenance procedures for proper use of all tools, machinery, and the work area.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to see clearly through a microscope
• Must be VERY detail oriented, able to focus/concentrate on the specific tasks on each Work Order, and perform the steps with a minimal number of errors as directed
• Good understanding of basic math skills
• Able to distinguish differences in long number sequences (part numbers)
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• Good attendance record
• 1 Years experience preferred, but will train the right candidate they display the desire to learn and contribute to our team’s success. Paid training is provided.

Skills and Experience:

• Frequently required to sit, stand, and walk; won't be stuck in one position all day. NO heavy lifting.
• Possible opportunity for overtime; but not required.

Schedule:

• 8-hour day shift – Monday to Friday
