Shipping Compensation / Benefits :

• Hours : 3rd shift is 10 : 55p-6 : 55a.and does not rotate
• In addition, new employees do not work overtime in the first 60 days of employment. After 60 days, overtime is likely both during the week and weekend.
• Pay Rate : $23.61 / hr. or higher based on experience and certifications.
• Our client offers offers a shift premium, paid training, and a $1,000 sign on bonus!

Shipping Primary tasks :

• Include stock put-away (20% of work completed) and general shipping (80% of work completed).
• Workers generally complete stock put-away for 1 shift per week and complete general shipping for 4 shifts per week.
• Stock put-away involves constant forklift operation with rare manual material handling (lifting boxes).
• General shipping involves occasional forklift operation and frequent manual material handling (lifting boxes, wrapping pallets, and labeling).
• Boxes are manually stacked from 4 to overhead (greater than 75 height).
• Boxes vary in size and weight from 5 lbs to 50 lbs.
• A 31 tall platform is available to reduce occurrences of lifting overhead when manually stacking boxes.
• Employees primarily work 8-hours per shift, 5 shifts per week. Workers receive two 10-minute breaks and one 30-minute break during the shift.

General Shipping Requirements :

• Workers are required to obtain / review orders and build pallets according to orders.
• Forklift operation (sit or stand adjust-ability) with manual material handling
• Finished pallets / orders are wrapped with an automatic wrapper, labeled, and staged for shipment.

Stock Put-Away Requirements :

• Workers constantly operate forklift (sit / stand adjust-ability) to transport pallets of product.
• Rare manual material handling required (lifting boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. from floor to overhead).

Shipping Duties & Responsibilities :

• In a Shipping position you will efficiently perform work activities in keeping with current production, quality, safety and housekeeping standards.
• Job duties include lifting & stacking cases, driving an industrial lift truck, operate scanning devices and all other duties that may be assigned.

Shipping Specific Requirements & Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to :

• Ability and desire to work with people in training and problem solving.
• Efficiently perform work activities in keeping with current production, quality, safety and housekeeping standards.
• Lifting & stacking cases, driving an industrial lift truck, operate scanning devices and all other duties that may be assigned.
• Ability to communicate and document information effectively.
• Willingness to participate and utilize new training, tools and educational opportunities.
• The ideal candidate will have a great work ethic, be willing to learn new things, and have good dependable attendance.
