Material Handler Compensation / Benefits

• Pay $20-$22.00 / hour depending on experience
• 1st shift : Monday-Thursday : 5 : 45am-3 : 15p.m.; Friday : 6 : 45 am-10 : 45 am
• 2nd shift : Monday-Thursday : 3 : 30PM-2 : 00AM
• 2nd shift has a four-day work week and shift differential pay

Material Handler Job Description

Our client is excited to be adding full time Material Handlers on our 1st and 2nd shifts. As part of a turnkey heavy fabrication team, the Material Handler will be responsible for maintaining production and distribution of product in a busy metal fabrication facility.

Material Handler Job Responsibilities

• Operate various machinery, including forklifts, to handle materials and inventory
• Store materials in assigned location
• Pull the appropriate products for each order
• Deliver large steel pieces to different locations of the building
• Deliver production materials and supplies
• Use company truck as needed to drive to other locations to pick up materials and parts
• All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned

Material Handler Job Qualifications :

• Previous shop & warehouse experience desired
• Forklift skills are a plus
• Must be dependable
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions (appropriate clothing provided)
