ABQ Petcare is looking for a full time receptionist to add to our growing team as we prepare to move to our newly renovated hospital this June!
Duties:
- Greet and check-in clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and answer phone calls, providing excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate client records and update patient information in the system
- Triage appointments for walk-in and urgent care appointments
- Handle financial transactions, including processing payments and managing invoices
- Keep the reception area clean and organized
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology and procedures
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with veterinary practice management software
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
