About Us:
Above Alpha Tattooing opened in July 2020. We are Gulfport's premiere tattoo shop, offering private rooms and artists experienced in many styles of tattooing. Our owner has been tattooing for 21 years and is at the shop daily. We're dedicated to working with our clients to provide quality tattoos.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Tattoo Artist to join our team. S/he will have the opportunity to showcase their artistic skills and provide exceptional customer service in a creative and professional environment.

Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients to understand their tattoo ideas and preferences
- Create custom tattoo designs based on client specifications
- Provide guidance and recommendations on design concepts, placement, and size
- Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of all tattoo equipment and workstations
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and new tattooing technologies
- Maintain accurate records of client information, including design details, appointments, and aftercare instructions
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns or questions

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a licensed tattoo artist
- Strong portfolio & online presence
- Active Florida tattoo license
- Valid bloodborne pathogen certification
- Excellent artistic skills with the ability to create custom designs to meet client needs
- Strong communication skills to effectively consult with clients and understand their vision
