Job Description

The Senior Director of User Experience leads the overall enterprise UX strategy, ensuring that our products consistently meet top-tier standards in terms of usability, accessibility, and responsiveness. This position entails the creation of both practical and aesthetically pleasing features that effectively cater to our customers' requirements. It necessitates robust leadership and organizational abilities, coupled with a profound comprehension of UX design principles.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a visual designer, product managers, and development teams to produce UI mockups, prototypes, MVPs, and final product strategy.

• Lead the entire design process from start to finish, ensuring that deliverables are timely, comprehensive, and polished.

• Gather, organize, and translate user insights into enjoyable user experiences.

• Craft measurable experiences aimed at enhancing conversion rates and satisfaction across all digital platforms.

• Leverage data and analytics to continuously enhance and optimize the user experience across all channels.

• Align the user experience strategy with business objectives and goals in partnership with senior leadership.

• Effectively manage and prioritize projects to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery of all project deliverables.

• Assemble a proficient UX team, delegate responsibilities appropriately, and maintain overall accountability for project execution.

• Mentor, inspire, and foster intelligent innovation and risk-taking to develop business models that enhance customer interactions and product experiences while delivering superior financial performance.

• Cultivate an in-depth understanding of the product's strengths, weaknesses, market trends, competitive threats, and opportunities, with a focus on enhancing the consumer experience.

• Develop and communicate the department's vision to team members, inspiring them to produce compelling and industry-leading work.

• Provide recommendations for adjustments to product features and strategies based on input from business stakeholders.

• Collaborate with the sales and marketing departments to create marketing and positioning strategies informed by consolidated UX research findings.

• Utilize user research to shape product strategies, including pricing, packaging, and campaign strategies, to ensure the product's success in the marketplace.

• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in digital user experience, and recommend their integration into our overall strategy.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in implementing design processes on an enterprise scale, including the establishment of Design Systems and Design Language.

  • Possesses exceptional analytical skills for research and strategy development.
  • Skilled in simplifying complex user requirements.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Excellent organizational skills, consistently delivering results.
  • Maintains composure and adaptability when navigating complex situations and tasks.
  • Demonstrates a high level of proficiency in various tools, including Figma, Visio, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Sketch, Invision, and Pendo. 

Qualifications

Master’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Economics, Design, Engineering, or an equivalent in working experience.

Experience: 

The suitable candidate will have over 15 years’ experience in technology marketing and or product-related management positions.
