Position Summary Details

Seeking motivated, friendly team members to provide cleaning tasks that include sweeping, mopping, high dusting, vacuuming, trash removal. Willing to work Monday-Friday 2:30pm – 11:00pm. Pay rate is $12/hr.

Essential Functions

• Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities. Performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
• Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc. 
• Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.

• Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc. 
• Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities. 
• Operate and sanitize all assigned equipment in a safe and proper manner.
• Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices. 
• Cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned. 

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, office, stairways 
• Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. 
• Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment. 
• Gathers and empties trash, in all designated areas. 
• Clean glass and mirrored surface; polish stainless steel surfaces 
• Dust furniture, fixtures, shelves, and other areas on a regular basis.
• Wipes and cleans tabletops, chairs, and desks in designated areas.
• Maintain the cleanliness of restrooms (includes resupply of paper products and soap) 
• May also sweep walks or perform other incidental seasonal tasks.
• Wash walls, woodwork, doors, and sills 
• Periodically cleans overhead vents and dusts blinds.
• Must keep janitor’s closet neat and orderly and maintain equipment in good working order. 
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Customer Service Experience 
• 1 yr of similar work experience
