What to know about the Role?

The wage rate for the School Custodian position is $12.00/HR. Full-time and Part-time Custodians work 5 days a week (M-F) and are compensated for 80 hours biweekly. The Full-Time position includes full medical benefits, free life insurance, sick/vacation time, paid holidays off, and a 401k plan. Custodians can enroll for benefits within the first 30 days of employment.
Responsibilities:

Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
Waxing furniture and cleaning fixtures.
Disposing of trash and emptying trash receptacles.
Performing minor repairs.
Keeping buildings free from indoor pests.
Maintaining cleaning equipment.
Maintaining inventory of cleaning agents and equipment.
Ensuring equipment and lights are switched off, and premises are locked after hours.
Collaborating with contract cleaning services.
