Basic Qualifications:
•Must be 18 years of age or older
•No experience required and on the job training provided
•No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
Preferred Qualifications:
•Customer service experience
•One (1) year of similar work experience
Responsibilities:
Qualifications:

• Must be bilingual
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 to 3 years of janitorial experience that reflects the potential for supervising others
• Ability to read and write at a level appropriate to the position and perform arithmetic calculations as required by the position
• Able to work independently and within the framework of a team, accepting his/her role as required
• Committed to high standards of safety and willing and able to comply with all safety laws
• Must have the ability to perform day-to-day responsibilities with little or no direction
• Must have flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to address urgent operational needs or scheduling conflicts
• Must have the ability to work cooperatively in group situations and work actively to resolve conflicts
• Must have basic computer knowledge
• Knowledge of custodial cleaning method materials, chemicals, and equipment used in custodial work and of the safety and sanitation practices and measures required
• Establish and maintain positive outlook and encourage open communication, maintain objectivity
• Organizational skills
• Prolonged period of walking, standing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, bending, climbing stairs and ladders
• Must be able to lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs
• Lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects
  A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
