ABM.Com is Hiring a Mobile Maintenance Technician Near Denver, CO

ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Route/Mobile Building Engineer. The Route/Mobile Building Engineer supports the designated leadership with the daily operations of all building systems. This includes hard surface maintenance and repair, basic carpentry and metal work, operating, maintaining and repairing all facility system equipment associated with HVAC operations and mechanical and electrical systems. The Building Engineer will also respond to customer requests and submit and close work orders as necessary and perform other duties as assigned.

Pay: $29.00-$30.00/hr 

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

401(k) – You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested.

Essential Functions

  • Drive to designated locations to maintain and perform maintenance on HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment systems.
  • Uses and helps provide best practices to troubleshoot and repair equipment and system problems so that problems are resolved in the most efficient and effective manner.
  • Follows safe practices and complies with company and regulatory standards.
  • Must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks as assigned.
  • Fosters a work environment that promotes energy conservation and continuous improvement of engineering functions.
  • Records all pertinent data in building logbooks and makes all appropriate daily entries on all equipment in accordance with federal, state, and local codes and requirements.
  • Demonstrates commitment to quality of service.
  • Complies with ABM’s policies and procedures.
  • Maintains regular attendance in the workplace.
  • Process administrative paperwork in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Participate in regular required communication with Chief Engineer, Assistant Chief Engineer, management, tenants and other staff.
  • Provides engineering support for a wide range of systems, maintenance programs, engines as well as operational engineering functions.
  • Develops solutions and implementation plans, project justification, cost/benefit analysis, and overall management of project implementation and coordinate warranty recovery on SBs that are applicable.
  • Organizes and manages the priorities for assigned responsibilities and accomplishes the work process to meet all deliverable for projects as well as maintenance program changes and technical specification revisions.
  • Coordinates work with other operational groups to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, operational reliability and operational efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Must have Valid Driver's License
  • EPA Universal.
  • Engineering skill sets which can be applied to a range of systems, maintenance programs and engines.
  • Customer Service Experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of commercial office maintenance tech\ building engineering experience.
  • Qualified to operate or assist in operating all heating and ventilating equipment, engines, turbines, motors, combustion engines, pumps, air compressors, ice and refrigerating machines, air conditioning units, fans and siphons on the site assigned.
