Ables Heating, Cooling and Electric is Hiring an Electrical Project Manager Near Zanesville, OH

Job Summary

The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for the oversight, and coordination of the overall project management to the bids that are won by the company. The Electrical Project Manager shall be responsible for communications with general contractors, owners, subcontractors, and field personnel that are involved in the projects.

Essential Functions

  • Directly responsible for leading and managing crews that consist of foreman’s, lead electricians, electricians, journeyman, apprentices and/or laborers.
  • Creates plan for work project and ensures materials, tools, equipment, etc. are scheduled in a timely manner to meet the scope, budget, and project construction schedule.
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to ensure project is being completed as per the plans and specifications.
  • Supervise and oversee all field activities and employees ensuring company standards across all services are being provided.
  • Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments in the project and scope of work.
  • Turn over all changes in scope and additions in scope to estimator for pricing before work proceeds.
  • Confer with supervisory personnel, owner, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, or installment problems.
  • Prepare production schedules and work orders for all projects
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines and demands
  • Review budget estimates, and cost tracking reports on a monthly basis
  • Prepare and submit progress reports for each project monthly
  • Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with housing and safety codes or other regulations.
  • Ensure all projects are meeting deadlines, staying within budget, and meeting quality standards.
  • Performs annual performance evaluations for field personnel.
  • Weekly project site visits
  • Looking at small projects, collect data and work up material list and scope of work for them or estimator to price out

Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
