Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Concrete Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a passion for working in the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of construction sites before concrete pouring
- Perform concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing and leveling
- Help with the installation of concrete forms and frameworks
- Operate hand and power tools to cut and shape concrete
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment used in concrete work
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times
Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge to operate various tools and equipment
- Frame carpentry skills for constructing frameworks
- Ability to read blueprints for project specifications
- Knowledge of construction estimating for material calculations
- Proficiency in concrete finishing techniques
- Experience in hardscape construction for outdoor projects
- Welding skills to join metal components if needed
- Ability to restore and repair concrete surfaces
- Familiarity with stucco application for finishing touches
