ABIT Consulting Group is Hiring an ABA Technician/BHT/RBT Near York, PA

  • No weekends; 15-30 minutes drive to client; 30-40 hours/week case - 1 client only
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have 2 years of post-secondary education. Additional certification as a Registered Behavior Technician is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with special needs.
  • Ability to work with a variety of clients in regard to age, functionality, and with minimal direction.
  • Knowledge of word, excel, and google drive. Must possess personal computer knowledge and skills, including graphing and data representation.
  • Ability to respond quickly to phone calls, text messages, and emails
  • Current on all required trainings/certifications. Successful completion of fingerprinting, and criminal history background check
  • Driver’s insurance on file with HR department
  • Transportation that is reliable and insured

Reports to: Clinical Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct behavioral services to clients in individual sessions
  • Run skill acquisition programs with clients using Applied Behavior Analysis and Verbal behavior
  • Complete weekly program writing and maintain client’s program book
  • Work with BCBA and or BCaBA to implement individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients
  • Maintain and protect the well-being of all clients during treatment sessions and when emergency crisis situations arise.
  • Assess situations and make proper judgments
  • Understand behavioral situations and react accordingly in an ethical manner
  • Objectively analyze crisis situations
  • Respond quickly to emergency situations
  • Communicate effectively and make recommendations to various agency staff and outside professionals, groups, or individuals
  • Perform general clerical duties including maintain accurate client record and preparing clear and concise reports
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions within the framework of established guidelines
  • Follow guidance from senior level staff to enhance own professional development
  • Work with a diverse team of professionals in a respectful manner
  • Supervise clients during treatment sessions.

Salary/Hourly Rate: Commensurate with experience
