Overview

Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Systems Architect on a 10 year contract providing User Facing and Data Center Services supporting an Intelligence Community customer. All the personnel on the team will work together to support innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment and disposal of user facing and data center information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, to support the IC mission.

The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Performs expert-level systems development and design work that may include logic design, I/O design, firmware development, model formulation, manufacturing and development cost projections, computer architecture analysis and design, and analog or digital systems engineering.

• Develops technical roadmaps for future implementations.

  Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems.

• Performs expert-level systems development and design work that may include logic design, I/O design, firmware development, model formulation, manufacturing and development cost projections, computer architecture analysis and design, and analog or digital systems engineering.

• Develops technical roadmaps for future implementations.

• Develops business case analysis on potential projects.

• Ensures security is integrated into all architecture solutions.

• Performs advanced systems modeling, simulation, and analysis.

• Acts as a subject-matter expert to multiple tasks and/or programs.

• Reviews completion and implementation of system additions and/or enhancements and makes recommendations to management and/or clients.

• Plans and directs upgrades of operating systems and designs systems enhancements.

• Identifies, analyzes, and resolves system problems.

• Determines system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.

• Serves as a chief architect and/or program architect..

• Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced systems engineers and may have supervisory responsibilities.

• Serves as primary liaison with senior clients, participating in meetings to ensure client needs are met.

• Provides high level expertise to multiple projects and tasks.

• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.

• Participates in special projects as required.

Qualifications

Clearance Required: TS/SCI 

Degree and Years of Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline. Master's Degree preferred. 20 or more years of related systems engineering experience.
