ABIDSS, Inc. is Hiring a Compliance Specialist Near Loma Linda, CA

Overview

The Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the Document Retrieval Procedures are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations when issuing authorizations, stipulations, and subpoenas for records about civil, federal, and workers' compensation rules of procedures, and statutes that apply nationwide.

This position is paying $65,000

Responsibilities

  • Nationwide research, review, and documentation of all local, state, federal civil, and workers compensation rules of procedures and statutes to ensure we are compliant and up to date with the most current version of the rule or statute.
  • Create/Update subpoena packets/models for document retrieval throughout various courts and lines of business.
  • Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Product Development Departments for Compliance-related questions and tasks.
  • Perform regular audits of business procedures and processes to ensure this compliance.
  • Timely execution on request received from management.
  • Analyze internal business systems to ensure compliance with industry and client regulations and standards.
  • Create, modify, update, and implement the company’s compliance policies.
  • Develop risk management strategies.
  • Design control systems to address cases of violation of compliance policies.
  • Design ongoing compliance training programs for employees of the business.
  • Liaise with other departmental heads to ensure that all business operations align with compliance policies.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience  

Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience. Three years successful experience in the document retrieval industry is preferred. Account management experience working in virtual offsite office is helpful. Five years’ experience with state, local and federal rules of civil procedure, statue exposure and interruption.

QUALIFICATIONS  

  • Must demonstrate high level of self-motivation.
  • Must be able to work under minimal supervision and have a strong work ethic.
  • Must be a self-starter who takes direction when given but has the ability to determine what’s required and willingness to take action.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Power Point, Excel, and ability to learn Salesforce.
  • Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
  • Must demonstrate attention to detail and willingness to follow-up to assure work is completed.
  • Able to work independently and in team environment.
  • Ability to follow all company policies and procedures in effect at time of hire and as they may change or be added from time to time.
