Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as a Direct Care Staff. We provide activities of daily living and various other non-medical care services. As a Direct Care Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with diverse needs to lead fulfilling lives. Our goal is to help build safer, happier lives for senior adults. We make it our goal to bless the entire family by loving and serving their seniors.
Duties:
· Implement care plans and provide assistance with daily living
· Assist memory care individuals with behavior management and social interactions
· Provide support in various settings such as memory care facilities, nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities, or in their own homes to help them live independently
· Offer specialized care for individuals with dementia related needs
· Light housekeeping duties
· Meals
· Companion care; non-medical; hospice
· Assistance to doctor visits; serve as client’s advocate when necessary
· Bathing assistance
Requirements:
· Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow them accurately; or discuss with Casee if a care plan needs to be adjusted
· Assist with daily activities of living independently
· Capability of lifting, and assist with transferring clients safely
· Strong drive to support individuals with diverse needs
· Background in medical settings is a plus
· Highly reliable and dependable to show up to scheduled shifts
· Have a valid driver’s license, social security number, and current vehicle insurance
