Abel Door & Trim is currently accepting applications to fill an opening for a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Support.

IT IS IMPERATIVE that you are good with reading numbers. That you have NO issues with mixing numbers up in your head. I am not referencing math.

So let me be clear, when you see this "73" your mind doesn't register 'thirty seven', but it registers 'seventy three".

Doors and trim are not always light to carry. Some loads are heavier. You need to be strong and in good shape to do the physical work of this job.

It is also important that you have very good references that I can call and talk about your work ethic and integrity.

We are growing. We are a new door / trim / lumber company in DFW and we can't keep up with demand.

I need you to be extremely reliable and when you make a mistake, just own it and lets get it corrected. I am not hiring people to be perfect and I don't expect perfection.

But I do expect humility, hard work and at Abel Lumber, we all respect each other.

This job is responsible for the following :

• Loading, transporting, and delivering doors / trim to customers in a safe, timely manner.
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete.
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Complete accurate delivery forms.
• Operating equipment and machinery.
• Preparing orders in the warehouse for delivery.
• Accepting delivery of inventory & confirming the accuracy.
• Inspect inventory for damage upon delivery.
• Marking and labeling stock.
• Communicating errors or inventory issues to manager.
• Ensure cleanliness, tidiness and safety of work environment.
