Abcor Home Health is Hiring an Accountant Near Arlington, IL
We are hiring an Accountant to join our team in our Arlington Heights office. This role is an integral part of the team, reporting directly to the Controller.

- Perform day to day accounting functions by following internal controls
- Coordinate month end closing and assists with financial reporting
- Perform monthly bank and Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Perform back up functions for IDOA and DHS billing
- Perform other duties as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience
- Experience with general ledger monthly journal entry
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliations including cash
- Experience in financial statements
We are a Medicaid & Medicare certified home health and home care provider; with Home Health department accredited through the Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP). Abcor is also licensed as an in-home services & home health agency by the Department of Public Health. Abcor is an active provider under the Department on Aging (DoA)’s Community Care Program. We also participate in the Department of Human Services – Department of Rehabilitation Services (DORS) Program. In order to work with those to whom state government programs do not apply, Abcor Home Health has established solid partnerships with six managed care organizations in Illinois.
