Job Summary:

 We are looking for a Contract Specialist to review contract terms and conditions before contracts are signed, negotiate favorable terms with other parties on behalf of the company, and draft contractual provisions and amendments.

Responsibilities:

• Execute the contracts management processes to ensure reviews of SOWs, Master Service Agreements, amendments, etc. are thorough and executed timely following SmartSource standards.
• Review incoming contracts / SOW review requests for completeness and accuracy.
• Support our sales team and other departments in day-to-day negotiations of deals on a variety of agreements.
• Work with key internal stakeholders such as finance, product teams, sales, operations, IT, HR and several others as needed to negotiate relevant terms in agreements.
• Create and maintain relationships with internal and external clients and serve as the initial point of contact for matters concerning contracts.
• Consult with internal stakeholders to provide or obtain relevant information for the current and newly awarded contracts.
• Summarize key contracts, maintain contract analytics and work with business stakeholders and lawyers regarding all contract-related matters.
• Create and maintain a virtual file cabinet for retaining all signed contracts.
• Coordinate with relevant departments on requirements that are needed to fulfill the contract, such as AR, operations etc.
• Maintain customer rebates and notify Finance when they are due, the cost etc.
• Design and implement a DocuSign process for all rental agreements. 

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience analyzing contracts and a strong background in best business practices.
• Ability to identify, research, and resolve problems as well as follow through on assignments with minimum direction.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to successfully multi-task projects.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and to collaborate across cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, purchasing and HR.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
