ABC Warehouse is growing our team at our Findlay, Ohio, location and is presently seeking reliable, responsive, and service-driven individuals who are looking for a dynamic and rewarding role in a retail environment as an Office Associate!

Founded by Gordon “Gordy” Hartunian with a single store in Centerline, Michigan, ABC Warehouse has been family-owned and operated since 1963 and has grown to become one of the Midwest’s largest and most successful retailers offering appliances, TVs, electronics, mattresses, and furniture. Our Office Associates serve a critical role in our mission to provide that outstanding level of service by supporting the entire store team in various operational and clerical activities which keep the store running smoothly and efficiently. If you are energetic, organized, solution-orientated, and can multitask with ease, we would love to have you as part of our team as a part-time Office Associate!

Office Associate Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform intermediate calculations involving copying data, counting, addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Read and understand product labels and written policies.
• Follow verbal or demonstrated instructions.
• Clean up (sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, etc) areas within the store as needed.
• Adhere to established store security procedures regarding receipt of funds, returned merchandise, etc.
• Perform routine, repetitive tasks with simple instructions.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties assigned by store management

Office Associate Qualifications:

· Ability to operate a computer terminal and/or cash register from a standing and/or seated position.

• Ability to make reasonable decisions within the scope of the normal job responsibilities.
• Personable, positive and friendly attitude.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrated dependability and trustworthiness.
• Ability to use the Internet and comprehend information.
• Ability to communicate clearly and relay information properly
• Ability to take and follow directions, protocol, and company procedures with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work as a team player within the work environment.
• Ability to work on-site in a retail store location with weekend availability
• Ability to follow a schedule and work with the company for store coverage.
