We are seeking a Senior Database Administrator (DBA) to support tasks necessary for the Oracle Applications Database administrators to provide technical direction on and support to the integration of Oracle 19c database components with a variety of commercial and custom tools. This includes database maintenance and migration of capabilities to virtualized server centers and potentially a cloud base environment The scope of the contract includes support relating to the architecture, design, installation, configuration, integration of products and services, performance and operations of the MROi software solution components. Job Duties and Responsibilities: * Deploy patch and maintain databases
* Monitor database performance and make system adjustments
* Conduct database disk space management
* Perform log management
* Provide inputs to Security Manager on database systems
* Perform trouble shooting on operational issues and work with team to resolve
* Engage in day-to-day activities such as cloning, patching, performance tuning, capacity planning and monitoring all aspects of database administration: user management, security, backup/disaster recovery, SR management, documentation, etc.
* Performance tuning, problem determination, analysis and correction of Oracle database environments
* Provides guidance to the PMO on architectural decisions that have impact to the performance and scalability of the solution
* Define operational procedures and create/review system documentations (CDRLs and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)) and any other documentation the government needs.QUALIFICATIONS Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience): * Must have an active Secret clearance! * Certifications:

* Good to have: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP 12c), Cloud Certifications, OS Administration Cert * Minimum of seven years of Oracle database management (Oracle 12c and 19c preferred)
* Strong understanding of Oracle 12c and 19c databases and Database as a Service cloud offerings
* Ability to collaborate at all skill levels within the DBA team and across internal/external stakeholders
* Experience with environment provisioning via Infrastructure as Code using tools
* Experience with techniques to keep the environments secure including data encryption.
* Moderate to expert programming expertise in PL/SQL and SQL
* Working knowledge of Oracle WebLogic Server Administration
