Abbeville General Hospital is hiring for a Front Office Supervisor Position: Full time Front Office Supervisor for Maurice Community Care Clinic (7:00a-5:00p)

Position functions as the front office lead for the clinic and is responsible for managing the daily operations of the clerical area. Provides front office support including check-in, check-out and medical records functions.

Front Office Supervisor Required Experience:

• Previous front office experience in a medical practice or clinic setting with supervisor duties preferred.
• Medical coding knowledge required.

Front Officer Supervisor Educational Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Front Office Supervisor Physical Requirements:

• Medium Work as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor constitutes a maximum lift of 21-50 pounds on occasion and/or a maximum lift of 11-25 pounds on a frequent basis
• May be required to assist in the turning, lifting, or moving patients as well as walking about from patients’ rooms, as well as to and from various hospital areas
