As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be the design authority for } engineering projects in Automation & Electrification Service in Energy Industries within Process Automation in Houston, Texas, making technical recommendations and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service.In this role, you will be the technical lead and/or design authority for projects in renewable, oil & gas, chemical, power generation, Water treatment industries both in United States and global projects.You will also be ensuring successful Distributed Control System delivery of multiple projects on time, within budget and in line with specifications and with quality and safety guidelines.

Engineering Manager

• Working closely with customers to shape and deliver solutions and utilizing feedback to drive delivery of improvements for medium to large complex projects
• Resolving technical issues both remotely and at customer sites in US and abroad
• Assisting Project Managers with claims, customer specifications and safety standards, as well as technical details, costs and deliverables for sales proposals
• Cost effectively executing Distributed Control System project deliverables on time in accordance with specifications, standards and safety requirements
• Design, Test and Commission Automation Enclosures, Control Logic and Human Machine Interfaces with ABB or 3rd party Control System
• Creating and delivering work plans, budgets and risk assessments
• Developing your management skills by working with entry level employees
• Developing, selecting and applying standard techniques, procedures and tools, reporting inefficiencies and identifying improvement opportunities
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately up to 25 percent of the time

• A Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or other engineering degree
• Minimum 8 years of experience in engineering, working as an engineer with Distributed Control Systems
• Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and tools
• A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following workplace safety guidelines
• A high level of self motivation, curiosity and a desire to learn about new technologies
• A collaborative approach to working, demonstrating strong communication and leadership skills
• Candidates must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Position will be based in Houston, Texas
