FRESCHE SOLUTIONS IS LOOKING FOR A NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR – ON SITE POSITION

What you will be doing:

You will have a key role as you will be responsible for supporting customers on the Abacus Solutions Platform-as-a-Service hybrid cloud, as well as supporting the internal IT networks and systems. You will be collaborating directly with customers and internal team members for guidance and growth.

In your day-to-day you will be responsible for:

• Provide tier 1-3 support for Abacus Solutions internal/customer networks
• Answer assigned tickets and resolve alerts to drive resolution and customer satisfaction
• Train operators and technicians with networking tools, procedures, and processes
• Work directly with customers, sales staff, or engineering staff to determine customer/internal requirements
• Work with customers on calls to provide troubleshooting of networking connectivity solutions
• Work on customer issues related to but not limited to SSL VPN, IPSEC Tunnels, Firewall Rules, etc.
• Participate in after-hours escalations and 24x7 on call shifts as scheduled. Ability to work weekends as scheduled
• Take guidance and direction from the Network Engineers
• Work with support staff and engineering to ensure the best possible outcome is obtained during customer troubleshooting issues
• Work with engineering team to maintain internal infrastructure

What you should have:

• Minimum 3-6 years of IT/Network work experience
• Customer service experience and positive attitude with strong technical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with firewall Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper, with switching Cisco, Juniper, Layer 1-4, Microsoft Visio and Office products
• Experience with network monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds, Splunk, etc.
• Ability to work independently and excellent written and oral communications skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry recognized certifications (CCNA route switch/data center, CCDA, etc.)
• knowledge of Fortinet, Cisco along with switching and firewall configurations and protocols.
• Understanding and strong knowledge of the OSI model
• Command line experience on multiple network hardware platforms is a plus
• Past Managed Service Provider experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related experience
