Job Description

We are an innovative Rhode Island based health management company with customers throughout the U.S. seeking a full-time Billing/ Accounts Receivable Clerk to support the day-to-day accounting operations of the business. The candidate will be tasked with preparing and issuing invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records. The candidate will communicate with customers and resolve any billing or payment issues. This position requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as a strong attention to detail. The candidate must be able to take directions and feedback as needed.

Duties Include

• Prepare monthly invoices and deliver to clients according to company policies and procedures
• Maintain client escrow account ledgers.
• Accounts Receivable management and reconciliation
• Assist with incentive tracking and spreadsheets
• Verify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in customer accounts or invoices.
• Send reminders and follow up with customers on overdue payments.
• Generate and provide financial statements and reports on accounts receivable status
• Maintain confidentiality and security of customer and company information.
• Other office or administrative tasks as assigned.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
• Ability to perform accurate and timely data entry and calculations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with MS Office suite; strong MS Excel skills are required
• Proficiency with accounting software is a plus
• Punctuality and Professionalism is required
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration is a plus

Pay: From $50,000.00 per hour
