Minimum of BA and 1 year experience in special education

Must posses RBT or be eligible to complete course sequence

• Implements Tx Plans under the direction of the BCBA

• Maintains a purely professional relationship with client / family and does not engage in any personal relationships with client outside of the work environment ( i.e. attending parties, or social engagements)

• Maintains confidentiality

• Supports all members of the team and contributes ideas & suggestions

• Actively participates in trainings

• Applies BACB standards for ethics in treatment

• Applies Behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with the client

• Becomes fluent in ABA, behavior change procedures, behavioral terms & theory

• Consistently implements behavioral strategies and effectively guides and supports family in these methods

• Does not communicate with client/ family via text or email except for scheduling/ appt purposes only. All progress related communications are discussed in person at meetings or with BCBA.

• Becomes fluent in prescribed electronic data collection method

• Is detailed, accurate and consistent

• Is responsible and professional at all times

• Creates instructional materials as needed ( at company expense)

• Communicates and interacts in a professional and respectful manner with families, staff and clients at all times

• Manages time effectively

• Wears ID tag during all sessions

• Effectively responds to, manages, and reports crisis situations in accordance with ABA STEPS policy

• Documents any communication with family relevant to therapy and/or services

• Agrees to care for company equipment/ devices when in use with client• Complies with ABA STEPS LLC Policies & Procedures

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $65.00 - $85.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
