Job description: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (Partial Remote)
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. In this role, you will work with individuals who have developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges, providing assessments, behavior plans, and interventions to improve their quality of life and promote their overall well-being. This position offers the flexibility of partial remote work.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments, interviews, and observations to collect data and identify behavior patterns
- Develop comprehensive behavior plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Implement behavior plans and interventions to address challenging behaviors and promote skill acquisition
- Provide training and support to caregivers, parents, and other professionals involved in the individual's care
- Regularly monitor and evaluate progress, adjusting behavior plans and strategies as necessary
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and treatment documentation
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in the field of behavior analysis
- Adhere to ethical standards set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and regulatory agencies
Requirements:
- Valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field
- Minimum of two years of professional experience working as a BCBA
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in conducting assessments and developing behavior plans based on ABA principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, caregivers, and other professionals
- Ability to work independently and remotely, while also being a supportive team member
- Proficiency in utilizing technology for remote communication and data collection
- Ability to travel to onsite locations when required for assessments, consultations, or training sessions
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges
