ABA Connect is Hiring a RBT Regional Support Near Round Rock, TX
The RBT Regional Support position covers 4 clinics in the Austin market (S. Austin, Pflugerville, Cedar Park & Round Rock). Frequent travel required between ABA Connect service locations including clinics, clients' homes, and community settings within an assigned region or geographic area
This position works directly with ABA Connect clients on his/her individualized ABA therapy program. You will be responsible for building and maintaining rapport, and keeping up to date on programming goals and implementing appropriate changes when directed by the BCBA for this child.
Essential Job Functions

Provide direct ABA therapy to client
Take data on each skill
Complete program sheet for skills taught daily
Notify BCBA when criteria is met on specific skills
Communicate with parents and other therapists/lead therapists/BCBA on issues, concerns, and progress
Be on time for each session; stay the entire time
Request need for time off with Administrative/Scheduling Coordinator at least two weeks in advance
Notify BCBA of any schedule changes
Use basic knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) procedures
Work in a professional manner with clients and families
Collect, analyze, and update data; organize/create materials, research activities, etc.
Communicate effectively with parents, BCBA and other therapists
Ensure that all data entered correctly for session
Ensure that session notes forms are completed correctly - they should be quantitative in nature, with correct start and end time of session and signed by you as the Therapists performing the service.
Maintain over-learning and maintenance data
Assist with data summaries for Team Meeting reports (e.g., MLU, behavioral, etc.)
Create/obtain materials as needed for programs
Additional Duties
Keep work area clean and disinfected (e.g., keep materials put away when not in use, etc.) Clean area after therapy session
Participate in general house cleaning for administrative hours
Engage in ongoing staff training as requested by BCBA
Attend required meetings:
Monthly Grand Rounds
Management Meetings (as needed)
Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

Must be able to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
Must be able to regularly work in a highly stressful environment while maintaining a calm demeanor throughout daily interactions with clients, staff, and parents
Must have manual dexterity sufficient to regularly perform various keyboard functions.
Must be able to regularly give and receive detailed information through oral communication
Must have visual acuity including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus .
Must be able to frequently sit at a computer terminal for extended periods of time.
Must be able to regularly travel to and from different in the areas served by ABA Connect.
Must be physically present at the assigned job site.
Qualifications
Required license or certification:
Valid, current driver’s license & current car insurance on vehicle
CPR certification
RBT certification maintained - we will provide training and pay for licensing and testing fees for your RBT
Preferred:
Working towards or has obtained a Degree in Behavioral Science or related field (such as; Psychology, Special Education, Elementary Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Occupational/Physical/Speech Therapy or Counseling/ Social Work)
Education:
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Additional Eligibility Requirements
Fluent in spoken and written English
Knowledge of Autism and other developmental disorders
Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Previous experience working with a range of children with autism, developmental disorders or typically developing children
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to adapt to a changing environment
Passion for helping children achieve their full potential
