Behavior Interventionist Position: (10-40 hours per week, Monday - Saturday, depending on your availability) compensation: $17.00 - $19 per hour and opportunity for advancement with higher wage.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Going into the homes and other settings of clients with special needs of various ages and working with them and their families;
• Providing individual instruction to clients implementing pre-developed treatment plans.
• Assisting in developing and implementing behavior support and intervention plans, strategies, and techniques.
• Gathering, compiling, and preparing data for statistical and operational reports.
• Participating in staff development, education and training programs as directed.
• Maintaining client confidentiality.
• Commuting (driving) to and from client residence.
• Potentially working various hours throughout the day depending on the need of the client.

Minimum requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma. Degrees in Psychology, Early Childhood Development, Elementary Education, Special Education, or related field are a plus, but all of those with Bachelors degrees are invited to apply;
• Experience working with special needs clients preferred;
• Must be able to provide proof of eligibility for employment within the United States;
• Must be able to speak English fluently;.
• Must be able to pass drug test;
• Must be able to clear a Livescan/background check;
• Must have valid driver's license;
• Must have own transportation, ability and willingness to travel within and around San Diego County.

Desired Qualifications:

• Fluency in language other than English (Arabic, Spanish, Mandarin, Japanese & Vietnamese).
• Registered Behavior Technician
• CPR Certification
