We are seeking a qualified Orthopedic SurgeryPhysician for 24-hour locum tenens call coverage in Midland, Michigan. Thisrole is ideal for a surgeon with expertise in surgical critical care, trauma,and general surgery. Responsibilities include managing orthopedic fractures,tendon ruptures, and wound/infection washouts, with no spine work or infectedjoint transfers. The physician will handle trauma and general surgery calls,round on admitted trauma and acute care surgery patients from 9 am to 12 pm onweekends (patient census 15-20), and respond to Code 1 trauma activationswithin 15 minutes at our Level II trauma center.

Qualifications

· Licensureand Certification: Active Michigan medical license, DEA, and ControlledSubstance Registration (CSR).

· Certification:Must be board certified or eligible in surgical critical care.

· BasicLife Support (BLS): Current certification required.

· Experience:Proven experience in managing orthopedic fractures, tendon ruptures, andwound/infection washouts in a trauma setting.
