Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to clients based on their individual care plans.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Administer medications as prescribed, following proper protocols and guidelines.
- Monitor clients' health status, record vital signs, and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse.
- Prepare and serve meals according to clients' dietary needs.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, creating a positive and caring environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and observations made during each shift.
Requirements:
- Valid certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA).
- Previous experience as an HHA or similar role, preferably in a home care setting.
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care and establish rapport with clients.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
- Must be available for a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
