SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) Marketing Division is seeking a highly motivated and seasoned Traffic Manager to join our in-house Creative team. This role provides crucial support stewarding project work that flows through the Creative team by vetting creative requests and overseeing the production workflow of 2,000 jobs annually, fostering teamwork, and motivating individuals to contribute to an efficient production process. The Traffic Manager is responsible for assigning job tickets, setting production schedules for marketing team members (i.e., designers, copywriters, strategists, etc.), and producing monthly reports that show detail workflow capacity and output. Responsibilities Enthusiastic and highly collaborative, responsible for the intake, planning, assignment, and monitoring of creative marketing projects from start to finish. Oversee creative projects in JIRA by monitoring workflows, deadlines, and review/approval processes. Collaborate with project stakeholders to collect details (i.e., dates, specs, supporting assets, etc.) to prioritize and triage requests and provide updates on existing projects/timelines. Addresses obstacles such as missing information in briefs, approvals, etc. Distribute assignments, due dates, etc. to Creative team members (and project stakeholders), based on prioritization and deadlines. Reviews daily workloads and re-prioritizes tasks as needed to support and manage expectations. Ensures the appropriate talent is used and workloads are evenly maintained. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field Previous experience working in creative development. Experience with JIRA, Monday.com, Trello or other project management platforms is a plus. Relevant experience in an agency setting or in-house creative/marketing department. Responsible for meeting deadlines, managing multiple tasks, and tracking details in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of digital and traditional marketing strategies and project workstreams are key. Strong planning and follow-up skills Thrives in a team environment while meeting goals and expectations. Excellent interpersonal and social skills; the ability to be flexible and easily adapt to changing priorities. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or through equivalent work experience plus four to six years related experience.
