Job purpose
The Behavioral Health Counselor is responsible for providing direct behavioral health services in home, clinic, and field setting to adults and older adults. This position provides services that include providing individual and group therapy and performing case management services. The Behavioral Health Counselor delivers services with attention to cultural relevance and sensitivity.

Working conditions
This job requires you to be in the community, in client’s homes, and other community partner sites. Work is often conducted in an office environment. Basic safety precautions and use of protective clothing or gear is required. Driving is essential to the function of this job. The job requires travel up to 25% of the time.
