Essential Functions
  • Develops approved auto repair facility strategy and tactics to include appropriate number, mix, and geography of facilities to ensure participant and member value
  • Develops and executes Go to Market plan to ensure significant participant interest and value.
  • Partners with marketing and IT to develop and monitor marketing campaign effectiveness
  • Develops and maintains pricing strategy to ensure strong ROI to participating facilities
  • Design and develop strategy to monitor and improve member experience and service with AAR
  • Responsible for AAR facilities in Northern California, Nevada, and Utah
  • Establishes and ensures qualification criteria and quality compliance
  • Implements initiatives, pilots new products and technology
  • Analyzes data, creates trend analysis, measures program success, provides AAR Network and executive updates
  • Reviews metrics to determine efficiencies and recommended products, solutions and best practices in pursuit of improved operational efficiencies
  • Develops strategic and tactical plans for business expansion opportunities. Includes preparing annual budgets and business plans, additional financial, market and business analysis as needed.
  • Leads periodic business reviews to measure AAR program success.
  • Identifies AAR program gaps and issues and works collaboratively with field and AAR participants to resolve.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Understands managerial accounting/reporting and how expenses and revenues impact business results. Can create a strategic plan for multiple locations or business units and translate that into actionable goals and financial targets for each business unit.
  • Excellent Relationship, Presentation, and Communication Skills
  • Advanced knowledge of member services, products, guidelines, policies and procedures related to automotive services.
  • Familiar with AAA National and AAA NCNU Programs

Education & Experience / Licenses & Certification
  • Bachelor's degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 years Industry experience in providing repair, maintenance, and/or emergency road services for passenger and/or commercial vehicles
  • Marketing and Sales experience preferred
  • Automotive Services Industry experience preferred
  • 8 – 10 years Management or leadership experience
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Work Environment/Physical Requirements
Works in an office environment sitting at a desk, table or computer workstation for extended periods of time. May travel by car, plane or other form of transportation to attend business meetings or conferences. Approximately 50-80 percent of the time spent on the job involves the use of a personal computer.
