Store Manager – Travel Olympia

Successful candidates will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in customer service, retail, or travel industry, minimum of 3 years’ experience in management/leadership role, and a Bachelor’s degree (BA) in business or sales or equivalent experience.

In this in-person role, you’ll be:

• Overseeing overall store operations of our travel store in our Olympia location.
• Responsible for store operations and overall staff performance in our Olympia location.
• Reconciling, reviewing and auditing sales in partnership with travel accounting.
• Responsible for store appearance and ensuring merchandise and displays are presentable and clean.
• Host and support in-store and at off-site events to grow revenue, membership, and enhance AAA brand.
• Driving sales within the store to meet and exceed goals.
• Engaging in local community to increase customer base.
• Responsible for ensuring an excellent customer experience and resolving escalated customer issues.
• Contributing to building, and operate within, established store budget.

• Providing direct management to store assistant manager and team members. 
• Responsible for developing people, improving processes, reducing costs, monitoring quality, delivering results against established objectives, and ensuring a high level of service to internal and external customers. 
• Managing assigned employees by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, developing, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning monitoring, appraising, and reviewing employee job contributions; maintaining compensation, resolving problems and implementing change.

Target hiring salary range is $68,806 - $84,302 and offer rate is based on candidate experience. This position is eligible for a Travel Sales Leadership incentive.
