Job Summary:
A Personal Attendant provides care and assistance with activities of daily living, mobility support, assisting with maintaining personal hygiene by bathing, brushing their hair and teeth or applying skincare as well as meal preparation, routine linen changes, laundry, light homemaker chores and errands.
* Assist with bathing (Shower, sponge bath) & personal hygiene
* Provide grooming for hair, skin, nails and oral care
* Assist with toileting (bedpan, commode or toilet) as needed
* Assist with transferring from bed to wheelchair or chair and vice-versa
* Assist with range of motion exercises, ambulation and other daily exercises
* Assist with dressing
* Making telephone calls
* Turning and repositioning
