Insurance Sales Agent Trainee – The Auto Club Group - Central Michigan - Multiple locations

What you will do:

The Auto Club Group is seeking prospective Sales Agent Trainees who can generate new sales to members and nonmembers, actively pursue opportunities to establish and strengthen customer relationships, and support all ACG branded products and services. You will be challenged to drive new business with competitive products and help retain The Auto Club Groups 13 million members.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

• Train to become a Sales Agent by obtaining the required Michigan Property and Casualty and Life Insurance licenses for selling Property and Casualty Insurance and other products
• Responsible for learning various company guidelines, systems and processes to become an effective Insurance Agent

• Performs other duties as necessary

We’re looking for candidates who:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license
• Successfully attain the Michigan Property and Casualty Insurance License and Michigan Life Sales license within a 90 day timeframe designated by ACG.

Experience:

• 1 year(s) of customer-facing experience in a fast-paced computer automated business environment

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong phone sales and prospecting skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with strong customer focus

• Excellent listening skills and ability to understand customer needs.

• Ambition, motivation and drive
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
