About The Construction Estimator Position

The Estimator accepts and evaluates client’s requests for construction proposals generated by the Sales and Construction Departments. The Estimator must provide a detailed and accurate proposal for the requested scope of work provided by the client. The Estimator performs construction bidding services by development and preparation of cost estimates for customers. They will arrange and attend project pre-bid site visits and assessments, bid document reviews, and manage proposal process from inception to completion. They will also prepare conceptual scope of work drawings for distribution, solicit pricing from vendors and sub-contractors, locate new sub-contractors and vendors based on geographical areas, update the Subcontractor/Vendor list, and compile/update historical cost data.
