The primary duties of the Car Wash Associate are to: Efficiently and accurately facilitate each car through the car wash. Effectively hand dry cars once car wash is complete. Deliver extraordinary customer service to AAA Members, and or other Car Wash customers by accurately answering questions and interpreting department procedures. Provide all necessary instructions to ensure a complete understanding of the services that will be rendered. Maintain car wash equipment ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are met. Report problems with equipment to Manager. Drive customer vehicles in and out of the car wash in a safe manner. Maintain store cleanliness. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent experience. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record. Satisfactory pre- and post-employment screening results, including criminal and drug screening. Must be physically able to drive various vehicles and transmissions (manual experience preferred but not mandatory). Must be comfortable with fast paced work environment. Ability to work in an environment with noise from traffic, machinery, and other people. Ability to work with window cleaning chemicals (alcohol based). Comfortable cleaning inside of customer’s personal vehicle with respect to their personal property. Ability to work holidays and overtime as necessitated by weather/business conditions. Ability to adjust schedule and priorities to meet business needs.
