```Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Assistant to join our team. The Accounting Assistant will provide support to the accounting department by performing various financial tasks. Responsibilities:
- Assist with financial management tasks, including budgeting and forecasting
- Perform account analysis and reconciliations
- Assist with general ledger accounting
- Support the preparation of financial statements
- Assist with financial auditing processes
- Process accounts receivable transactions
- Provide support in corporate accounting activities
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles
- Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Accounting Staff: 3 years (Required)
• GAAP: 3 years (Required)
• Bank reconciliation: 3 years (Required)
• Financial statement preparation: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• CPA (Required)
• Driver's License (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Oklahoma City, OK: Relocate before starting work (Required)
