WE'RE LOOKING FOR BILINGUAL (ENGLISH-SPANISH) HR SPECIALIST!

As a leading home health care agency, A1 America Home Health Agency is committed to providing compassionate and high-quality care to individuals in the comfort of their homes. As our Human Resources Specialist, you will be responsible for various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. Your expertise in HR policies and procedures, combined with your commitment to supporting the needs of our employees, will contribute to the success and growth of our agency.

Responsibilities:
- Facilitates the hiring process to include: recruitment, initial applicant screening, interviewing, reference checks, administering required examination(s), license verification

- Uses recruitment tools such as Indeed to find, screen and schedule interviews for incoming caregivers; also collaborating with administration on staffing needs.

- Conduct and send OIG, background checks, Employment Verifications, and other state documents

- Educate caregivers and staff members when AHCA certifications are soon to expire. Also, create a sense of urgency to update any expired certifications so the caregiver can continue to accept and work their cases.

- Manages the process, development, and updating of client files to be compliant with AHCA and A1 America HHA guidelines.

- Assist with employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans, in collaboration with management and legal counsel as needed.

- Manage employee documentation, including personnel files, contracts, and performance evaluations.

- Conduct regular audits to ensure HR processes and practices align with legal requirements and industry standards.

- Be familiar with Google Apps: Domain, Drive, Sheets, Docs

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field required; Master's degree or HR certification preferred.

- HR experience, preferably in the healthcare or home health industry.

- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite software.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

- This position operates in an office environment within a home health agency.

- Regular hours are typically Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
