**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Pipelayer to join our team. The Pipelayer will be responsible for installing and repairing underground pipelines for utilities such as water, sewer, and storm drain.
**Responsibilities:**
- Lay out pipe routes following specifications and blueprints
- Dig trenches with the aid of heavy equipment such as backhoes and bulldozers
- Align and position pipes to prepare them for welding or sealing
- Install and connect pipes using various methods including welding, gluing, or cementing
- Test installed pipes for leaks
- Backfill trenches and repair any damage to landscaping or pavement caused during pipe installation
- Operate equipment such as front loader trucks and pipe lasers
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a Pipelayer or similar role
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment including backhoes, bulldozers, and front loader trucks
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Knowledge of concrete finishing, forming, and welding techniques
- Familiarity with plumbing systems and pipe materials
- Physical stamina to lift heavy pipes and work in outdoor conditions
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
