Program Assistant – Direct Support Professional

Full time position, Monday-Friday 9:00A-4:30P or 8:30A-4:00P in a Program setting.

Position Summary:

Assist individuals with daily living skills and community orientation which includes, but is not limited to:

Assist individuals in carrying out day-to-day activities.

Carrying out goals specified on each individuals, individualized treatment plan

Support individuals in community inclusions, advocacy and independence.

Must be willing to obtain certifications for the following:

CPR

First Aid

AMAP

SCIP

Qualifications:

HS Diploma/GED required. College a plus.

Desire to work with developmentally/intellectually disabled adults

Caring, patient, helpful!

Must have patience and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Valid Driver's License preferred.

Prior experience a plus.
